My brother sent me the following photo care of Andrew Sullivan who managed to score it from the Consumerist. I think its really telling a solid story about first mover advantage.

When you’re behind a dominate competitor, it requires you to be extremely aggressive and innovative. The market leader is under no such requirement to respond until there is a major share shift.
